|ARNY:||We’re here with another installment of John in 60 seconds where John has 60 seconds to answer our questions. Today’s topic is Beethoven. You ready John?|
|JOHN:||Let’s do this.|
|ARNY:||What is Beethoven?|
|JOHN:||Beethoven is derived from Etoxazole. It’s a miticide and insecticide to control spider mites and white flies.|
|ARNY:||When would I use Beethoven?|
|JOHN:||Being that it’s a miticide, you would use it as first signs of seeing spider mites or their webbings. Spider mites produce webs to protect themselves from the outside elements, so as soon as you see these webs, you would want to release a Beethoven.|
|ARNY:||Beethoven total release foggers. It’s a fogger, but how would I go about using it?|
|JOHN:||Being that it’s a fogger, you would want to go into your garden, and turn off anything that has a flame, such as your CO2 burner or a water heater. You want to make sure all your fans and your A/C is off. Make sure your smoke detectors are off. You want to clear an area around the fogger and set it at your plant canopy height. You’re going to release it, and make sure you get out of the room immediately.|
|ARNY:||I’m out of the room immediately, it’s running. When is it safe for me to come back?|
|JOHN:||You can go back in if you have to turn on your fans after four hours or so. You definitely want to stay out of there for any long periods of time for at least 12-24 hours.|
|ARNY:||Would you share with us a pro tip?|
|JOHN:||One of the things about all these miticides and pesticides is that the bugs grow resistant to them. What you want to do is switch them out. I would recommend using one every three days. My regimen for Beethoven would be Beethoven, and then Pyrethrin, and then Attain every three days.|
