I have had my grow lights running for almost a month.No problems at all.And do my plants look very healthy and GREEN!!! I would suggest it for a hydroponic setup_

I've had this fan running nonstop for a little over 3 months, no sign of overheating or decrease in airflow. Fan motor housing does get too hot to touch after a minite though, so, just to be safe, I wouldn't recommend having the housing touching anything flammable.
Sun System X Ballast - 1000W HPS

I own the 400 watt version of this ballast and have never had a problem with it. I just ordered the 1000 watt grow light ballast and highly recommend for those on a budget.
